Terms of Service
Last updated 30 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Boostwerkz. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Boostwerkz provides an embeddable vehicle registration lookup and quote widget, a portal for managing the enquiries it generates, and optional integrations that bring in enquiries from other sources such as Facebook lead ads. We provide the software; you provide the tuning services you sell.
Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your login secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Your widget answers only on the website domain registered to your account. Do not share your embed code, webhook URL or API keys.
Plans, payment and cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing page and include a monthly allowance of registration searches.
- Reaching your allowance does not generate extra charges — the widget switches to manual vehicle selection until your allowance renews or you upgrade.
- You can change plan or cancel at any time from your portal. Cancellation stops future billing; we do not refund part-months unless the law requires it.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
Vehicle data and tuning figures
Vehicle details come from third-party data providers, and stage figures come from a tuning catalogue. Both are indicative and provided for guidance. Actual results depend on the individual vehicle, its condition, fuel quality and the work performed. You are responsible for verifying that any vehicle can safely be tuned and for the figures you quote and deliver to your own customers. We do not warrant that the data is complete or error-free.
Your obligations to your customers
You are the data controller for the enquiries you receive. You must have a lawful basis for contacting the people who submit them, honour their data rights, and comply with UK GDPR, PECR and consumer law. Do not use Boostwerkz to send unsolicited marketing, and do not import contacts who have not asked you to quote them.
Acceptable use
Do not: attempt to bypass search limits or the domain lock; resell or redistribute vehicle data obtained through the service; scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with the platform; upload unlawful content; or use the service to harass anyone.
Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Maintenance, third-party outages (including our vehicle data provider, email provider or hosting) and events outside our control may interrupt the service. Enquiries are stored even when email delivery fails, so nothing is lost from your portal.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for work you carry out on a vehicle, or for quotes you give.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, breach of these terms, or use that risks harm to the platform or others. You may close your account at any time — see Data Deletion.
Intellectual property
We own the platform and its software. You own your business content, your branding and your enquiry data. You grant us only the licence needed to host and process that data to run the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
